So What is City Chapel?

City Chapel is a vibrant church in north Red Deer, Alberta with a heart for our city. Our body is a unique, diverse community of Christ-lovers seeking to glorify God and serve our communities.

 

City Chapel identifies well with this statement from Tim Keller:

"Gospel-centered: The gospel of grace in Jesus Christ changes everything, from our hearts to our community to the world. It completely reshapes the content, tone and strategy of all that we do. City-centered: With a positive approach toward our culture, we learn to affirm that cities are wonderful, strategic and underserved places for gospel ministry. Movement-centered: Instead of building our own tribe, we seek the prosperity and peace of our community as we are led by the Holy Spirit."

Community

City Chapel is a church driven by the Great Commission. This Commission is impossible without relationships as a church community, as well as relationships with the communities in which we live.

Connect

We would love to connect with you and are happy to meet just about anytime. On Sundays you can catch us at our church service. From Monday through Saturday, our deacons and elders are available by appointment.

Conviction

We would love to share with you the great news of the Gospel, explore the whole awesome wonder of God's character, and deep richness of revelation found within his Scripture. Find out our distinctives and  convictions here. 

Resources

We love to serve the community of City Chapel and equip the saints within the greater church through a variety of resources focused on deepening our faith and increasing God's glory throughout all areas of our lives.
